This series has the potential to be so good. Exiled from the party stories are often crappy because they try to cast the former party into a negative light; either as incompetents or as evil people. This one fixes it nicely, and adds time loop shenanigans!
One thing that I like about this series is that the hero is insightful. Like, when Ed says that the sword was a “makeshift solution”, Alexis correctly deduced that Ed could do something better, given proper conditions. (…except when it comes to aesthetics, then even my cat is more insightful than him.)
Another cool point of this series, right in this chapter: showing the earlier time loop in a flashback to someone else than the MC.
