I love how supportive Honda is to Nishi. And she keeps landing those great lines. She’s so based 😁

This show has such a great chemistry between the whole cast and every character is so fun in their own right. I was grinning all the time.

A slower set-up episode but there were some memeable scenes this week

I think this was the best episode aside from episode 1. The flow was more natural and it was finally something different from the continuous bashing of mindless monsters. There was a fight too but this time there actually was some tension. Also Xylo’s fiance seems like an interesting character.

I like that Kana managed to pick herself up without any interference of a knight in a shining armor. That would feel so cliche.
Go Kana! Fuck the haters!

I’m pretty sure the movie Makio recommended was Fried Green Tomatoes. They don’t really even try to hide it much. It’s pretty clear that the outline says FriedGreen

I like Honda’s attitude 😄

Things certainly can go awkward when you’re living together for months and then decide to have a special outing. Minds go blank because it seems you’ve talked about everything already. Stark fumbled at almost every point of the date. Yet, in the end, it seems that both are happy with the outcome.
I always wondered where do they hold their belongings. Turns out Frieren’s suitcase has some sort of a pocket dimension.
Stark is growing as a fighter. This time he wasn’t afraid of the monster. His legs only gave up because he was afraid to catch a stray from Frieren 😅

Fun episode but there was too much talking during Kirara’s fight. Some monologues were unnecessary, for example I don’t need an explanation from Kirara that Fushiguro guessed right because I already can see that on their faces. Episode was already dialogue heavy because Kirara’s technique is complicated and hard to explain, there’s no need to make that any worse

Submitted my vote :) 2025 was really stacked. And it looks like 2026 will be too.

Great episode, probably one of the best in the series. Finally Aqua is getting back on his tracks. I really liked yet another scene of his mental breakdown. I will never get bored of these. Unfortunately, there’s also some more suffering for Kana. Girl just can’t stop losing
How do you know if something is overrated if you haven’t given it a try?

Having a reasonable production schedule does wonders

I already knew that Souta Ueno is someone to keep an eye on after seeing Gimai Seikatsu, and that was the main reason I gave this show a shot. With Shiboyugi he proves that he isn’t a one time wonder. I’ll definitely watch whatever he makes next

That’s some funny self-reference right there

Well, you certainly made it look like a clanker output. All the signs are there: enumeration, lots of links to some random-ass websites that are supposed to explain some basic terms nobody needs explaining, emphasizing something at the end of the statement. This is how clankers write

Another great episode. I wish we had more stories like this, where you can see that the author respects his viewers intelligence, where characters feel real, and there’s no cheap drama that tries to coerce you to feel emotional while forsaking any subtlety. This is like a breath of fresh air

I like it when Frieren touches the themes that are seemingly forgotten in our real world, like this time for example, it’s about leaving the world better than you found it and doing the right thing even if it doesn’t bring you glory or benefits you personally. It always leaves me with this warm feeling inside. Really nice episode.
I barely write anything about this show but only because I have hard time to type out all these feelings it evokes in me. Every week I’m equally amazed by the quality of storytelling and how all technical bits support it so well. That ending got me crying 😭
