Well that episode flew by so fast. I love how they used the metronome as a metaphor for their fight speeds. Also, the Jojo fight between Acro Silky and Turbo Baba lol.

In case you missed it as well, Jiji and Okarun also sang Slam Dunk’s opening and ending songs in S1 when they were trying to win over Momo’s attention.

I finished Samurai Champloo this week and started Mononoke (the series).

It sounds sacrilegious, but I enjoyed Samurai Champloo more than Cowboy Bebop. The characters and stories are more interesting.

I’m currently on ep 3 of Mononoke. My eyes are still getting used to the animation style as I sometimes miss some details while watching with subs, but I’m getting there. The stories are great so far.

I’ve been watching a lot of shows simultaneously so I forget sometimes, but why didn’t the hair demon attack anyone else in the family?

I like the opening song of Dandadan S2. Not sure which one between S1 and S2 is better, but both are bangers.

I also like the intro part of The Summer Hikaru Died opening song, but only until the vocals come in. lol

When the mantisians were leaving, I was like, I thought he was gonna be working nearby, then sure enough they traveled there. lol

Also, did anyone catch Jiji singing the Ranma 1/2 intro song when they learned they could control Evil Eye with cold/hot water?

That’s why I always order a mixed drink/cocktail.

I’m halfway through Samurai Champloo. I like it. Cowboy Bebop vibes, and the soundtrack is amazing (Nujabes). It’s also nice to take a break from shows where the main characters are kids therefore having immature problems.

The Summer Hikaru Died - I like how they did the horror elements and the melancholic vibe. It’s kind of a slow burn so far so let’s see if it picks up in later episodes.
