I want some new manga to read, please recommend me something!

I really really enjoy Eleceed and really want something like it again. Hero Killer is also very high on my list and so is my hero academia.

Anything more in that direction? Something funny and somewhat upbeat like Eleceed would be nice.

I prefer full color but am open to also read black and white.

This is crazy left-field, but I always recommend Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura. They aren’t, like, a lot like what you’re asking for, but they’re both absolute classics of manga and had an incredible influence on shonen manga the came after them. Both are upbeat, both are funny (especially UY) and full of action (especially Ranma), and are just generally great reads.

If not that, Assassination Classroom is pretty amazing, and maybe closer to what you’re asking for.

      Thanks I’ll look into that!

Assassination Classroom I watched some episodes of the anime, really liked and now I don’t even remember why I didn’t continue it lol

Maybe Mob Psycho 100? Same writer as One puch man, but isn’t as heavy on satire, and a much more down to earth take on how to handle great power.

On the other hand my personal rec if Golden Kamuy, a treasure hunt kinda adventure manga. Has some darker tones, but the cast is really funny.

I haven’t read any of the titles you mentioned, but I often check out the recommendations on Anilist for a title I like as a starting point. Here is the page for Eleceed, and I see My Hero Academia listed there, so hopefully there are some others in the same vein.
