Source is episode 2. I had a hard time choosing a clip from this series that wasn’t NSFW, but I had to post something since this show was too good to pass up. I absolutely love how genuinely insane this series is. Each episode gets crazier than the last. I highly recommend it, but also recommend watching it by yourself lest you be judged because the whole premise of this show revolves around NSFW material.

Okay - yeah - that’s pretty good, in a cheesy awful way.

Okuma’s kind of annoying but Kajou is awesome. And Anna is pretty funny, and set up to become much more entertaining as it goes along.

Shimoneta is misunderstood by people because they think it’s only a lewd ecchi show. However, while it does have sex jokes, it is actually a story exploring the idea of censorship - it takes that idea in an absurdly extreme direction to a point where the government bans all mention of sex and there is an underground rebellion that fights against them called SOX. I think this show has only become funnier and more relevant as time has passed.

One of my favorite recurring gags in the series is how whenever Anna chases Okuma, she’s wielding another bizarre weapon: tongs, a bug catching net, etc - the implication being that she doesn’t even know what a penis looks like because she has lived in a censored world throughout her entire life.

I never caught that gag with Anna’s hunting tools. One of the things I love about this show is how dense the humor is. There are so many jokes coming so quickly that it is hard to keep up. Puns, visual gags, even suggestive background art all add to the Mille-feuille of humor present in this show. Even in this clip, the first time I watched through this, I never caught onto the joke about Gouriki liking bananas hinting at future story elements. Just perfect.

My main complaint is that it just ends pretty abruptly. I am not sure if there is more to the source or not, but I really wish it had a bit of a better resolution at the end.
