This chapter definitely feels like an abrupt end. The thing with Mari’s mother was just hand-waved away and it was all just so anti-climactic.
(tbh it doesn’t actually hurt all that much because the story was so short and there wasn’t a whole lot of plot)
It was fun though and I did look forward to it so I’m sad to see it end. But oh well, more will come.

Not necessarily. This isn’t the first time a manga of his has been axed, and I think both Rendai and Instant Bullet were pretty good. This could either be the publisher saying that it isn’t popular enough or Aka-sensei himself losing passion for Rendai. They can’t all be bangers I suppose.
