Tanya too :D
This was a fun episode. Ice really got the words of wisdom.
Holy shit Hiroi sobered up instantly Bocchi’s mother is a wizard!
I love this cover art. It has a certain vibe just because Ryou and Bocchi are the ones on it.
I’m sad now :(
I’m with Akane on this. Aqua could have lived and been happy. But no, this story is a tragedy.
Two more chapters left, which I’m assuming is the epilogue.
Osho No Ko might end up on the list of stories I’m never rereading/rewatching, alongside Edgerunners and Danganronpa 3: Despair arc.
I love the animation, story and music so much! It’s also one of those rare anime I can recommend to non-anime fans. This is definitely my second favourite anime this season (I’m sorry but Natsuki Subaru’s Melancholy: Season 3 is also airing).
Grandpa is aging.
I wonder if his back hurts.
Grandma is so wise.
Bad haiku aside, grandma is certainly very observant. Also it’s been a while since I read the manga so I don’t remember who the voice on the phone belongs to.
This page really hits hard. The odds are low, but I’m still hoping for a deus ex machina.
I was confused by that too. My theory is that it’s an indicator for affection level. Alicia has already deviated from the original plot of the game quite a bit so I imagine some of the NPCs would be affected by Alicia’s “villainess”-ness.
@[email protected] ↑ this one makes for a cute thumbnail
I am not even a little surprised that school rooftops are popular tourist destinations.
Speaking of which, it’s adorable how Honjouji is accidentally being tsundere lol. I would be happy to get a frog shaped rock too, although that’s just because I also liked collecting weird rocks (I had to get rid of them when I moved 😭).
It’s more common than you think
Ame telling the antis to drop dead was the last thing I was expecting to see… which is my mistake because I should have seen it coming but oh well.
This cover is probably my favourite so far
spirals spirals the never ending spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals
The animation is so smooth, I wonder if they did rotoscoping for the movements. The black and white really brings out the body horror. It really captures the Junji Ito vibe perfectly.
Definitely one of my favourites of the season! All the characters are great, the animation is so lively and the story is a perfect mix of funny and serious. This anime is going in my special list.
Ah yes, isekai trash.
Junk food is fine sometimes okay don’t judge me
Putting aside the animation quality (or lack thereof), I thoroughly enjoyed this anime from start to finish.
I recognised a lot of the things shown, especially in this episode, that I’ve experienced in my own life with me as well as people I know. I was worried about the representation when I first started the show but it completely blew away all my expectations. The author clearly knows what they’re doing.
Makoto is really strong. Self-confidence is hard but he really nailed it. How greedy, which is very fitting lol (the op has been given the honour of being in some of my special playlists).
I see a fan translation on Mangadex and an official English version on Webtoon. I’m gonna go with the fan translation because it’s further ahead and the scanlators have a really good track record.
Fly high, Makoto 🏳️⚧️
Woah I think I like this version better. I’m so happy to see Alicia learn about the joys of levelling. Patrick’s reaction was perfect.
