I use TTS to generate pseudo audio books and listen to light novels while working out/driving.

Though one weird quirck of doing this is you don’t get to see the pictures as you read For j-novel books I unzip the book and extract the pictures.

Some times I view all the pictures before listening to the book other times I view them after finishing the book.

Would you say the book has deep plot intensity like Acendence of a Bookworm or is it more of a quick read? Have had this book on my radar.

I know someone who reads the afterword first.

I skim through all the pictures first (if the book is drm free like jnovel I unzip it and look through the image folder, else I look through fandom or skim for images).

But regarding the afterword I read those at the end 🙃

I read volume 10 it’s okay ish.

My main issue is I feel like I am loosing track of where the plot is heading.

Quof also kinda spoiled me on prepubs as in Acendence of a Bookworm most of the time parts usually end at the end of 1-2 chapters.

Tearmoon by contrast can have parts which end in the middle of a chapter (not sure if that’s the norm, hope I don’t sound to picky).

Assuming anisocial is stable I would think migrating could be better. I also checked ani.social seems to be federating fine with other instances like lemmy.world and even beehaw (which are known to be more strict).

Side note regarding .ml domain:

On a side note with lemmy.ml a similar instance fmhy.ml effectivly got shutdown due to their domain being taken (.ml country domain). lemmy.ml seems to be managing fine but ani.social (.social) seems to be using a top level domain which may pose less of a risk to loss of domain.
