Not gonna lie, the trailer looks better than I expected. Looking forward to the premiere.
I got nearly to the end of The Promised Neverland and it just dragged on and on. I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.
I’m surprised to see Nausicaa have a suddenly boost in popularity. It seems to be everywhere lately. I actually read through it in the late 90s but didn’t quite grasp the concepts. I think I’ll give it another shot. I still have my first edition paperbacks.
Shh we don’t want this taken down. I’ve been using it for years.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely check it out. I’ve recently rekindled my love for comics and read thru all of the Cyberpunk comics, but they were mid. Read Attack on Titan, and Our Promised Neverland which were both OK but not great. But I recently found Assassination Classroom and it’s been an incredible ride. I definitely recommend it.
Serial Experiments Lain. Came out before smartphones and yet predicted a lot of modern technology. It’s a fantastic look at how tech can shape our reality and mental health.
I just finished “The Town Without Streets” by Junji Ito, and it’s some of his best work to date. Absolutely haunting from start to end, and thought provoking regarding the concept of privacy. It’s absolutely worth the short read.
