I liked the film. The story was done correctly with whole heroes journey done by the book. The climax felt like it was made last minute, and I noticed couple of plot holes. The world building that sucked me into the series just hadn’t got the time to shine. There was couple of animation sequences that ware great to look at. In the OST there ware couple of great songs.

I just like the overhead shots:

Overall good film but quite disappointing that it didn’t deliver on the world building. There won’t be a third instance due to “lived happily ever after” ending.

So I wanted to point out one detail. Smartphones were used correctly as plot derailment device.

Here we see Noel google an actual answer to a question and skip whole subplot of finding those grapes. Fall 2023 is great for technological details like that. First we have got deepfake in DEAD MOUNT DEAD PLAY and now this.

The actual plot was “meh” but the animation was just an eye candy.

Vilaness lvl 99 it is in “3.6 not great not terrible” range. If I will need something to fill my time I will propably pick it up. In LN the main arc was quite nicely contained with satysfying ending. I don’t know how much of the source material they will adapt.

I watched the PV and looks interesting. Cute girls with guns transform in some sort of mechs meanwhile people are sent to labor camps.

I think Apothecary diaries had small story that wasn’t in the manga. (I think I have my new waifu in Maomao)(I should touch grass)

I have cought up with spy x family and new exiting arc is beginning so that’s nice. I can’t wait for frieren to have a showdown with a demon, in manga it looked super cool.

Woo! I am so stocked. Anya will be the princess that needs saving Again! I hope that there will be cinema release in Poland but I don’t have high hopes.
