What a productive author. Shame, my heart was stolen by Stephen Tower and his saga about the traveling King of the Dark.
I kinda love how the first one was lit on the photo, only convincing me it’s ‘Asimov and Earth’ by Isaac Foundation.
Yeah, the psychological part is in itself amusing. I hold some of his short stories as high as a classic literature. The one about holes just of your size feels very relateable when I read local news. But Gyo or Spiral? More of a grindhouse trash movie than the thriller, and he’s nailing the gore aspect, carrying it to the absurd levels, so you start to wondering how this dude was sitting over that with inks for hours and didn’t end up in a hospital.
I’m into old media, so I guess it wouldn’t be a problem. Thank you once again!
I thought Akira was only in anime format. TIL.
I was bad at explaining it, but I want to have panels that I would like to look at for minutes and be inspired by them. Masochistic pedantism of Ito and Miura was just that: I enjoyed their wider panels like I enjoy the drawings of Hieronimus Bosch, looking at them for a long while.
I’d look into BAA and Claymore that another user suggested. Thank you.
If they’d manage to keep the pacing right, it’d probably be the most insane shit for years to come. The dad’s face at the end is awesome. These painstakingly animated black&white graphics would be a better trearment that what has been done to Berserk with, arguably, a pretty poor CGI work.
