Anyone else completely surprised at how much they like this show? It’s pretty cute. The lows, like Yuri’s sister complex and Yor’s 26 kissless years, are fairly low but Anya makes up for it. Never thought an anime character was cute before seeing Anya’s antics.

Why did you come to a comment section to argue in favor of negative reviews about a show you haven’t actually watched? That’s a bizarre hobby.

gullible@kbin.socialto Anime@lemmy.ml•Netflix’s ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ Again Proves The Uselessness Of User Reviews21·2 years agoWhat an absolutely unhinged comment. And to reply to your reviews, there’s nothing of substance said in half of them. I read them, evidently you haven’t. Feel free to keep the mask on, I guess?
gullible@kbin.socialto Anime@lemmy.ml•Netflix’s ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ Again Proves The Uselessness Of User Reviews31·2 years agoIt’s the weird scene arrangement. Had opera gone to hell at the end of the season, it would have been paced infinitely better and, moreover, it would have been much more poignant. Contrasting the incoming with the outgoing would have been interesting. As you said, I’ll forgive it if they can meaningfully expand on their story in the next season.

It was adequate setup for a 3-4 season show. The emotional arcs would have been fantastic if they had been given any amount of time to breathe or if there had been more visible development between certain characters, but that’s not what the complaints are about, are they? What, my good chud, are they complaining about in their reviews? Do feel free to pull your mask off, you’re among friends.

I read a few chapters and can now say that I’ve found two manga with cute characters.
