This episode is a set up for something big. Aqua is going back to the site of his death(not 100% sure). Ruby got to fire up a composer for a banger that they will surely sing at the final.
Aqua’s revenge coming to an end without closure to him and just switching plot to Ruby really enhances the dissatisfaction in the viewer. I love it.
Another Avan-garde short film to our collection
Soup Forest: The Story of the Woman Who Speaks with Animals and the Former Mercenary - It was cute and sweet. Really nice but the word “soup” is jarring for some reason, but that could be just for me. The plot and romance feels a bit flat but the heartwarming feeling of community is really good.
(no score this time)
This website is really nice to make webP and Avif https://ezgif.com/video-to-webp
I loved this episode. We had more world building and couple of cool dressing up animations.
And this one is especially cute @[email protected]
Rangard has feds Monarchy upon him due to identity laundering by Clay
You will be dissapointed if you expect 9/10, it’s more like 7/10 but incorporating all the elements and themes that I love and very good resonance with my emotions.
An Autumn in Amber, a Zero-Second Journey - I really liked this one. I was expecting some sort of romance but it was more of an adventure. In the begining the characters have too much knowledge that is taught through experience, and there is a clear dissonance between their actions and their thoughts. The ending and the climax really sucked me in. In hindsight the theme was a bit too obvious but it didn’t throw me out of the story so it works.
9/10
(a bit skewed as it really resonated with my emotional strings)
Demon realm would be like labor outsourcing, colonization or exotic commodities trade?
Like you can’t really invade the “demon realm” as the “demon king” stands guard and tries to hire some help for fair compensation.
Small very interesting tidbit is that there were huge incursions from / to “demon realm” but Belle and her predecessor defended the world from them. I really like this world building as it explains usual trope of “horde of demons attacking the earth” and at the same time “a hero storming the demon king”.
Belle accidentally proposed a fate worse than death. Still very charming show even though I liked the shabby armor a bit more.
Can you provide a year estimate when you saw it?
The Former Assassin Who Got Reincarnated as a Noble Girl Vol.1 - I have dropped this midway in second chapter. The MC was just an edgelord in a world where nothing really matters. What the heck happend where you can adopt a commoner and there wasn’t any resistance to it.
I Saved Too Many Girls and Caused the Apocalypse Vol 1 - I have managed to read it during couple of slower hours at work. Really nice read. Girs are falling for MC at first glance. Solutions are a bit on the nose for the explanations and a bit cartoonish. It isn’t romcom but more like adventure comedy with harem.
7/10
I really liked the realization that they both had father figure that disappeared to buy some milk. Clay wanted a proper job but Bell needed a friend so Mr. Rangard need to spell it out for her.
The sequence at the end could be a self contained Avan-Garde short film in and of itself. Amazing details with acrobatic supports.
Why does Clay not simply ask about her father?
I think there are two reasons: One that she is terrified of finding out. And Two the plot couldn’t work if She rushed straight to her father.
Slime Fax
NPC T posing over players to assert dominance. This is the way.
I like this adaptation more that LN. The music and slow pace really add to the vibe despite questionable quality 3DCG. It didn’t really interested me in the direction it was going in later volumes but chill slice of life making some dope magical devices is enjoyable.
As I watched Ok stories to show great world building. Bye Bye earth isn’t one of them. The story is bad. The world building is bad.
As of episode 2 we already met at least three types of bad guys. Underdogs, Insatiable Emptiness and racists. There is so much quantity and quality isn’t there. We had at least three expositions straight to the forth wall, and those expositions did not serve any function in the plot.
There are two pillars that this anime stoods upon: one is Kevin Penkin and second is this image

As I watched a YT essay recently, only one phrase comes to mind “World desperate to explain itself”
Ikuta no kita - underratted because it’s avan-garde and my experience watching it was great. 6.39 vs my 9/10
As I have watched a bit more avan-gerde films like “mad god” and “Tetsuo: the iron man” I would not grade it the same.
