  • I’m partial to Tip Taps Tip, myself.

totally fair, Tip Taps is also great as it hits hard especially as the series goes on and with the emotional complexity of the characters it makes my heart clench in ways that I haven’t experienced since long

It’s a rare one, where the most accurate word I can find to describe the various characters arcs it depicts, is brutal.

to even say brutal can be an understatement that we can both understand cause holy hell does it go deep

It’s superficially lighthearted, but damn, is there a lot more to it.

    yea :( ❤️
gods I’m still trying to hold back tears
I physically feel battered in the chest, whenever I rewatch Eureka Seven I always remember that 3/4 of the way through I’m dreading the end.

Today I hesitated for a bit as I didn’t want to watch the end, I didn’t want my time with the series to end. I’m glad I followed through but now I’m heartbroken, the postanime depression is hitting me like falling off a cliff only to be followed up with a nuclear bomb right after

  • man, Togashi’s in quite the unpleasant situation:

    • chronic back pain that prevents him from continuing HxH
    • fans asking him to relinquish part of the series that he seems to want to make himself

on one side you gotta think about bus factor and project management(which can be hell depending on who’s on the team(which I can personally say from first hand exp can be awful at times))

    on the other hand tho:

    • distribution of tasks can help minimize difficulty (all-for-one)
    • relinquishing a bit of control for the tradeoff of better efficiency in development

Personally I would choose the latter but if Togashi chose the former I couldn’t blame them as I can totally understand this is like their sapling project that eventually bore a lot of fruit

Either way, please get well soon Togashi-san!✊
