I don’t have a preference for book length. If I don’t enjoy it I will just stop and if I enjoy it a longer book is always nice.

But I do prefer shorter chapters. Long chapters can be hard to find a good stopping point. I have just finished the first chapter of <Abducted Princess Running Rampant: Wielding Forbidden Magic in the Demon King’s Castle Volume 1> at 100+ pages. It took me a while to start as the thought of a 100+ page chapter was too much, It just feels like a big commitment.

Also related to timing, shorter release times!

Man the release times of some en publishers are atrocious. A year between Overlord releases, for example. By the time the next volume is out I have forgotten that the guy is a skeleton.

Sidenote: What do you think about Abducted Princess so far?

So far it’s been interesting but not quiet on Average Abilities level.

But that might be because not a lot has happened apart from being in the Demon Kings castle. Hopefully now she is escaping it will pick up more. But Mile defiantly has Mile qualities.
