Not to mention, there’s a high chance of getting the Axe or you dropping in sales for most people even if you take a short break. Releasing manga chapters weekly was never a logical or healthy option to begin with given how time consuming it is. The industry is just cruel.

Mangaka barely have time to SLEEP much less go on vacations.
