I can’t really put my finger on why, but there is just something about this show that I find really charming. Perhaps it is just the right mix of ingredients that aren’t exceptional in their own right, but come together in just the right way. There is the cuteness part of the show represented by the character designs, Belle’s goofiness, and the golems:
Then, there is the cold-blooded, kuudere assassin Clay; representing the kill or be killed nature of exploring the dungeon. There is death that happens in this place, potentially including her father, and she has been trained to be the best at it. She gets to show off to the other employees this episode, demonstrating her ice cold charisma. Throwing out one-liners and winning hearts:
Mix the two sides of this show together and it creates just the right combination of elements. Just like different people have different tastes though, the mix might be off for some people depending on their preferences. However, I am finding it quite nice. @[email protected]
I really like the ED song. This show has a charm.
Is this a Blahaj without stuffing?
It was a bit obvious that the MC was a woman, even if the first episode tried to hide it.
And holy fuck hoarding dungeon master. A golem arm with too many joints? Seriously???
I didn’t even realize that it was meant to be a secret. It was pretty obvious first episode that Clay was a woman. However, Belle might need some HR counseling after stripping her employee and hugging her. There are (or should be) rules about this kind of thing Belle!
They were trying to hide it?
It seemed so for me. I might need to re-check the episode, but I think that they were even using pronouns that don’t reveal the gender to refer to her.
Or alternatively my brain just farted.
