- Shizuka-chan learned today that crime brings happiness, and wants to share happiness with Kou-kun.
- In a segment of Marina’s past the contrast between a happy time and current time is honestly soul-crushing. Takopi finally realizes the true meaning of his sin…
- Shizuka learned something from her mom. She roped Azuma to do her bidding. - The dissonance between the music and the actual situation at hand makes the whole thing creepier. It’s intentional, and well-executed. - It’s not billed as horror, but it’s low-key more unsettling than many horror shows. - And now Takopi gets to finally reflect on his actions, while seeing the reflection of his victim at the same time. I don’t know about you, but that scene is a directional masterclass. Absolute cinema. - This episode proved the show’s not just trauma-bait. - Done!

- That was beautifully animated. I love how they depicted Azuma and Marina past trauma. Despite how sad it was, they had done a really great job directing the sequence. Especially when Takopi learning about Marina’s past, now that the gravity of his action finally caught up after her mother’s breakdown.
- Marina-pi supremacy.
- I think Takopi backstory will also be Sad.
- takopii 🤦♀️ You’re not very discreet, are you?
