this is starring Pierce Brosnan? man is in his 70s, so obv he’s not the “action” lead… looks like Lily James is the lead… omfg it’s got Bruno Gouery from Emily in Paris, ok I’m a check it out at some point… !?!

We watched The Thursday Murder Club the other day and I realized it had not one, not two, but three people from The Long Good Friday in it.

      • Helen Mirren
      • Pierce Brosnan
      • Paul Freeman

In TLGF, Pierce was supposed to be young trade to seduce the middle-aged Paul, but with TTMC they’re both lumped into the same age group.

But yeah, even at 10 years younger than Paul, Pierce should be too old for much action. Although he’s still doing it, e.g. Unholy Trinity with Samuel L. Jackson.

I caught Steven Seagal in The Foreigner, one of the worst films I’ve ever been subjected to, on a long-distance coach (i.e. a situation where I couldn’t just change the channel to something else), and already at 52, it seemed like Seagal just stood still while bad guys ran at him and fell over theatrically. :D

Aw yeah there’s a whole industry of videos making fun of Seagal… here’s my favorite… (warning it’s got a lot of profanity) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzIHyF7UWY4 the youtube comments are pretty funny too. I’ve seen a lot of those movies, they aren’t really that bad, but definitely B-movies.
