This is really good!
The production values are better than expected for a comedy, and I honestly cried at the touching parts.
Prediction: While the Demon Lord’s power and violence won him a kingdom, it’ll be his daughter Doux’s kindness that keeps it together.
These episodes were painfully cute. I read the beginning portion of this manga before, and this lives up to the promised cuteness entirely. I was not expecting there to be songs in the series as well. It really felt like a kid’s sing-along or something like that. Also, I am not fluent in Japanese by any means, but I did notice that all the lyrics are written in just hiragana, just like children’s programming or books would have. Lots of fun here and I am looking forward to more!
It’s super cute, and Doux is adorable as can be, but the humor doesn’t really hit for me. I’m not sure if “adorable” is enough to keep me interested enough to keep watching over the entire season.
