I think the animated series somehow went under the radar.
Just finished a rewatch of SAC and it’s mind-blowingly on point and relevant.
I enjoyed SAC much more than the original feature. It had time to world-build etc.

Shin Sekai Yori (From The New World) and Dennoh Coil are amazing sci-fi series that are always overlooked.
