I haven’t gone back to the source manga to check, but I am pretty sure that they have amped up the lewdness of this adaptation compared to the source. I don’t remember it being so explicit with nudity. Lewdness with clothes ripping? Sure, all over the place. But things like the bathtub scene with Kuroeda I don’t remember from reading it.

In any case, the Alraune was my favorite part of this episode. I guess it is fitting that a plant species is pretty laid back. Plants aren’t really known for their high intensity.

Me neither. That’s why I was initially surprised about the ‘no censorship’ news too.

Just went back and checked the manga and the nudity is anime original. So it was clearly a choice to spice things up in the anime.

Yeah, and not just a little bit. All the nudity they added were in scenes/shots that don’t exist in the manga. Not sure how to feel about that. They also seem to have upped the plus sizedness of the characters.
