After the boring disasters of seasons 2 & 3 and the lazy cliché of Raphtalia actually being a princess this whole time, this show is dead to me. I dont get why anyone has bothered to continue giving this series the time of day, even the light novel readers.

I was definitely invested in the characters, I just didn’t get invested in whether Hina or Rui won in the end. I just needed to know what happened next. This is why I love the series, because I wasn’t one of the people slighted. Plus, I felt the ending hinging on a huge change out of left field was appropriate given some of the previous arcs. I get why some people are made, but I wasn’t in their situation.

I know a lot of people hate Domestic Girlfriend for the ending, but I thankfully got to bingeread the entire thing during Covid, so I just got to buckle in and enjoy the wild ride.

In case anyone else caught it, yes the dwarf in the party was checking out Rudeus’s butt. It was established earlier in the series that the dwarf was gay.
Good episode as usual, but I’m mainly excited for the next one since it’s finally going to be further along the story than the manga by the end of it.
And for those that may be concerned: both the anime and manga are adaptations of the light novel, which from what I understand is eons ahead in the story, if not already finished.
Keep in mind that you’re asking me to remember this from 5+ years ago. The only examples I can remember are seasons 2-4 of My Hero Academia and all of Laughing Under the Clouds. The latter show is remembered for being the first simuldub, and its episodes were even available in English on Funimation about an hour before they each aired in Japan

My vote would be the female lead in Guilty Crown, but mainly hecause everything in that was terrible
That’s pretty much been my opinion of this entire story arc. It’s felt like it’s dragging on way more than season 1
