Mr. President, another Evangelion series has impacted the franchise
After the last Rebuild, didn’t Anno basically say something like “now that part of my life is over and I can finally stop thinking about it”?
That would indicate to me they are beating a dead horse, for the $$$.
Anno is not involved as far as I know. But yes, the Rebuild movies gave the whole series a proper ending. Continuing now has the very high chance of destroying that, in my eyes.
Been quite a while since I watched Evangelion. Did they retcon Shinji jizz-hands or something?
